As soon as I set my foot in the door I knew that my experience with PearlMD Rejuvenation was going to be wonderful. The clinic is beautiful and the staff makes you feel like family. I visited Dr Pearlman in December 2017 for a treatment with Profound. I was immediately greeted with a smile from the lovely receptionist. She took my coat, offered me slippers and a beverage while I waited for Dr. Pearlman. Within minutes I was escorted to a room where I was to have my procedure done. A nurse helped set me up, sat me in a large white leather chair and spoke to me in a way that really put me at ease. This was my first experience with any type of aesthetic procedure so I wasn’t sure what to expect. When Dr. Pearlman came in I was instantly comforted by her warmth, confidence, and knowledge. She is a very impressive woman. She talked me through the procedure and informed me of what to expect. It was all very well explained. During the procedure itself, Dr. Pearlman and her staff kept me very calm. Their bedside manner is so reassuring that you barely notice what is happening around you. It all just melts away and you can really see how important you and your comfort is to the entire team. After my Profound treatment, I was explained the post treatment care and told there would be multiple follow ups to monitor my recovery. Because I am from out of town they had no issues accommodating me and doing my first few follow ups over the phone. When I return for in person follow ups I am always greeted with the same kindness and warmth. The entire staff always does a great job making me feel at home, welcome and important.
If you aren’t aware, the Profound treatment is a one time treatment that stimulates elastin, collagen and hyaluronic acid production thus smoothing the skin, evening out skin tone and creating lift. Basically, reverse aging the face without injectibles. Dr Pearlman was even able to do de-bulking under my chin. You see changes after a few weeks but the change is slow and happens over the course if a year. In only a few weeks I noticed that my skin was smoother and pores smaller. After two months there was an obvious amount of lift, the shallows of my cheeks came back, I have dimples again, my double chin is almost non-existent and I have even noticed that my lips look fuller. It is AMAZING! I cannot wait to see how this progresses over the year. My confidence has skyrocketed since having this procedure done. I would highly recommend it!! I don’t normally do this sort of thing but after my recent meeting and experience with Dr. Pearlman, I felt compelled to take a few minutes to write about my recent experience at her clinic. As a woman in my late 40’s, I have always been very nervous about having any cosmetic procedure done but as most of us out there, we look in the mirror and find things about ourselves that we don’t feel good about. Taking the risk of trying to “make something better/younger looking” and ending up feeling worse about it weighed on me heavily, until just recently when I got the courage up to have lip rejuvenation with Dr. Pearlman. In the throws of a divorce, which I have no doubt many can relate to, I found myself going from this confident, happy woman to someone I didn’t know anymore. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Pearlman and so I made the decision to do something for myself, in hopes of giving me a little ‘pick me up” I so desperately needed. As a rookie to this whole world of anti aging, skin protection, skin rejuvenation and injections we were a little nervous about the whole thing. As soon as we entered Pearlman Rejuvenation we felt at ease. Friendly receptionists greeted us and made us feel welcome. They explained to us what to expect from our services and showed us to the pretty waiting area where there were delish sweets and beverages. After a couple of minutes the fabulous Dr. Pearlman came and introduced herself and let us to our private room. Everything was so clean, like the prettiest, cleanest doctors office you can imagine. The doctor sat with us and asked us about our faces, what we love about it, what our aging concerns were and what we were looking to return to its previous state (when we were younger). She explained how her job is not to change our faces but preserve our natural beauty and reverse the signs of aging. She was full of information and explanation of her services and what her approach is to skincare. This women is experienced and smart! The nerves disappeared and we began my treatment of Botox and lip injections. It was fast, it was almost painless and when I left my lips looked a little fuller but totally natural. No blood, no swelling, no pain. My Botox kicked in about a week and a half later and now my forehead is smooth and supple. With no “resting lines”. After we left, we got a call from the nurse asking if we had any concerns at all. Overall it was a fabulous first experience and you better believe we will be back! I first met Dr Pearlman at the National Women’s Show in Ottawa this past spring. Her warm and genuine manner, and the kindness and openness of her staff drew me in immediately. Her passion for helping women feel and look their best is contagious. I finally booked an appointment to see her in Toronto in July. I am now 50, and I’ve had a few experiences with injectables that were just ok. I did not feel that those doctors listened to my wants and needs, nor did they offer anything innovative. Dr Pearlman has been on the cutting edge of injectable science from the beginning. She has a passion for finding new and exciting technology and methods of facial “sculpting”. If you are a woman of any age, RUN, don’t walk, to meet Dr. Jennifer Pearlman and her superb team. I’ve never met a doctor who knows so much about our bodies, minds, and spirit. She not only has more of an understanding of endocrinology than any M.D. or OBGYN I’ve met, (a subject that is paramount when navigating and treating the symptoms of peri menopause). Dr. Pearlman treated me through this arduous time that NO woman can escape, and please note that once menopause occurs and you think you’re “done”, you’re not. 80 percent of your hormones are gone, never to return. I will take the (SAFE/EFFECTIVE) bio-identical hormones Dr. Pearlman diligently prescribes to me as long as I live. I have been treated by Dr. Pearlman for several years and I would follow her to the ends of the earth for several reasons. She has created her own products, intricately formulated vitamin, mineral, weight loss supplements and skincare (she knew all about harmful Parabens way before other companies caught on).
